Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests and identify mechanical and electrical problems in vehicles
- Complete routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles
- Replace or repair defective parts such as brakes, suspension systems, and engines
- Conduct vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs to customers
- Utilize dealership software and diagnostic equipment for thorough and accurate vehicle assessments
- Keep up-to-date on vehicle advancements and attend training as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Proficiency with dealership software and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to maintain a fast pace in a team-oriented environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
