Summary :
The Executive Personal Driver and Security Specialist is responsible for ensuring the secure and efficient transportation of the COO while maintaining a vigilant and confidential security environment.
This role involves overseeing the safety of the COO's office and perimeter, managing the COO's transportation schedule, and collaborating with security personnel.
Exceptional discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to handle emergency situations are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities :
- Safely transport the COO to and from various locations.
- Maintain a secure and confidential environment for the COO during travel.
- Conduct regular security sweeps of the COO's residence and office.
- Monitor and control access to the COO, ensuring a safe and interruption-free environment.
- Maintain valid Driver’s License and acceptable Driving Record
- Follow all local, state, and federal laws while providing driving and security services
- Actively engage and successfully complete training in areas such as safe / defensive driving, emergency first aid, etc.
- Collaborate with other security personnel to implement comprehensive security transitions daily.
- Actively observe and respond to potential safety threats.
- Conduct routine checks of the perimeter to ensure the safety of the COO.
- Coordinate with executive assistants to streamline communication and ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee the maintenance and readiness of the COO's vehicle, ensuring it meets safety standards.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Stay informed about potential risks and security concerns in the areas the COO visits.
- Provide situational awareness and timely updates to the COO regarding any security issues.
- Conduct periodic security training and drills for the COO and relevant staff
- Handle emergencies with composure and efficiency.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal / external security staff and professionals.
- Act as a liaison between the COO and external parties, managing interactions on behalf of the COO.
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements :
- Must have a Florida State driver's license in current good standing.
- Clean driving record
