What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roseville Adult Learning Center Pathway Teacher, FTIUM (Finishing Trades Institute-Upper Midwest) position at Roseville Area Schools?
Description: The Roseville Adult Learning Center has a vacancy for a pathways teacher.Classroom instruction will be focused on apprenticeship readiness alongside instruction and evaluation within a competency based diploma, specific to entering the skilled trades. Class will take place at the Finishing Trades Institute: Upper Midwest in Little Canada.
An instructor is needed for a nine month project from September 2022 - May 2023. Class is held M-Th 3:45-8:15 pm per contract, including 4 hours of contact time, plus an hour for instructional management (prep). Total weekly hours: 22 hours a week plus additonal hours if approved by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Valid MN teaching license required, HS preferred
- Experience working with diverse student population, and scaffolding as needed, required
- Experience working with English language learners strongly preferred
Compensation: Salary range is determined based on the ABE/ECFE matrix located in the Roseville teaching contract. Minimum starting salary for candidates with a BA is $30.88 per hour.
