Job Summary
Rosina Food Products Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Sample Coordinator to support our Technical Services team. This role involves assisting with the sorting, selection, packaging, and shipping of product samples for R&D and Sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining safety and quality standards while working independently as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with packaging and shipping product samples, including labeling and documentation for FedEx and UPS shipments.
- Ensure compliance with USDA, OSHA, GMP, HACCP, and company safety regulations.
- Maintain professionalism and collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of three months’ experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in basic math skills and computer applications, including email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, and occasionally taste or smell products.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and mechanical parts.
Work Environment
This role involves working in conditions that may be wet, humid, hot, cold, and occasionally high or noisy. Safety and protective equipment will be provided as necessary.
