What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher/ Customer Service position at Ross & Witmer, Inc.?
Daily Duties:
- Take incoming commercial and residential customer calls
- Maintain the dispatch board / schedule and coordinate all commercial service and preventative maintenance work
- Dispatch Service Technicians
- Debrief Service Technicians after completion of each call
- Prepare service repair quotes for pending work
- Maintain the maintenance agreements
- Assist with ordering parts for special orders
- Forward list of parts used by technicians to warehouse for truck restock
- Maintain on call schedule, to include 1st on call and standby technician
- Maintain accurate customer history in database
- Ensure customers are invoiced timely
- Process call slips for work completed daily
- Check service time cards for accuracy
- Happy calls / customer surveys
- Provide service history to Commercial Service Agreement salesperson as needed for customer follow up and renewals
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- POSITIVE ATTITUDE
- Advanced customer service skills and excellent phone etiquette
- Strong ability to multi-task and work as a team in a fast paced environment
- Comfortable using multiple computer programs and proficient with Outlook
- Must be detail oriented and possess good organizational skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Industry knowledge is recommended but not required
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn
