Position: Debris Monitor
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Location: Pinellas County, FL
Qualifications:
Rostan Solutions is seeking motivated, reliable individuals to serve as debris monitors responsible for monitoring the removal of debris generated by a hurricane in your area. Applicants must have:
- a valid driver's license,
- reside within commuting distance of the project area
- a clean driving record,
- a reliable vehicle,
- a smartphone,
- proper identification (including a social security card or passport),
- preferred minimum of high school diploma or GED.
Position Description:
The position does not require any physical labor or special skills, but applicants are expected to communicate well verbally and write legibly. Responsibilities will include reporting to designated areas at an assigned time, attending safety and operational briefings, monitoring the collection of disaster-generated debris from authorized locations, and documenting the work as it is performed. Employees will be provided necessary job training, including using a company-provided personal digital assistant (PDA). The position starts at $12-15 dollars per hour and time and a half for all work over 40 hours each week. Per diem and/or mileage reimbursement may be available. Candidates must be willing to work 6-7 days per week, up to 12 hours per day.
