Culinary Supervisor

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a full-time Culinary Supervisor for the Nutrition and Food Service department. The Culinary Supervisor manages the retail operations while maintaining financial, quality and safety standards. Supervises, develops and directs culinary staff and other workers engaged in preparing, cooking and serving food ensuring an exemplary customer service experience in a safe, clean environment. Develops menu and programs and prepares food to support programs.

Salary range for this position is $56,355 - $68,269 which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

1. Associate’s Degree in a related field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in a large scale food service environment, including eighteen (18) months experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity; or
2. Certification in a related field and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in a large scale food service environment, including eighteen (18) months of experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity; or
3. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience in a large scale food service environment, including eighteen (18) months of experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
