We are seeking a Configuration Management/Project Manager II to provide documentation and configuration management support for the KSC Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in support of the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract. eMITS is the Agency’s enterprise-level contract creating and delivering multimedia and technical communications through the use of the internet, digital platforms, and IT management for NASA’s OCIO and Office of Communications (OCOMM). From photographing rocket launches and recoveries, to producing NASA TV segments, to information technology management, to using social media to share NASA’s message, eMITS integrates services for NASA IT and provides NASA’s communication to the outside world. Jobsite: Kennedy Space Center in Florida, this is a Hybrid Role
This position is within the Service Integration Division which manages numerous IT-related projects across all of Kennedy Space Center.
Daily work includes:
Remote, hybrid, and onsite positions the employee bears travel costs to nearest NASA Center for badging and issue of NASA IT equipment. This is a hybrid opportunity.
This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize while effectively managing time.
Application of critical thinking and problem solving is essential to be successful in this role.
Minimum Requirements:
Expert in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and TechDoc.
Education and Relevant Work Experience:
BA/BS and 5 years of relevant experience
