Corporate Claim Coordinator Description:

A claims coordinator is a professional who oversees activities related to handling and processing insurance claims. They act as a liaison officer between the organization, insurance company adjuster and policyholders, communicating the status of all relevant claims.

Typical Daily Duties, but not limited to: 

Following up on emails and answering them in a timely manner.  Reviewing all PDF’s that are to be sent to adjusters. Sending all correspondence to the insurance adjuster and the policy holder. Following up weekly with all claims. Answering questions from policyholders and insurance companies and /or getting them answers. Filling out write off forms and obtaining approval from the respective locations. Working with accounts receivables, to obtain owed money.

Skills:

Exceptional customer service skills:   Be friendly and listening to the customers’ concerns and questions, while looking for solutions to their concerns.

Good communication skills:   Speak clearly and explaining processes to customers over the phone.  Assist with other working employees.

Detail oriented/accuracy:  Pay attention to detail by making sure all numbers are accurate and all details are precise.

Documentation:  Take good notes and enter them into our company software called, Service Titan.

Claims processing:  Follow procedures and processing claims in a timely manner.

Computer skills:  Use of Microsoft Office and other internal software system.

Work place setting:  In an office setting at a desk.
