Bywater Onboarding Manager

Role Description
As an Onboarding Specialist at Bywater, Roundstone's in-house third party administrator, you will be integral in facilitating successful communication and servicing between the employer, Bywater and the advisor. Our Captive Stop Loss Program allows small and mid-size employers to take full advantage of self-funding their health benefits. Success starts with the employers’ smooth implementation onto Bywater’s platform and into our program. You will be integral in ensuring that success.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review and complete employer plan documents (Summary Plan Description, Benefit Synopsis, and Summary of Benefits Coverage)
- Integrate employer with PBM
- Conduct implementation and training calls with employer (2-3 per employer)
- Submission of all required benefit forms to applicable third parties
- Manage client relationship from post-sale through completion of implementation
- Finalize Administrative Services Agreement between Bywater and employer
- Engage and communicate with employer’s broker
- Manage successful transition of employer from onboarding team to service team
- Data input into Salesforce
Desired Qualifications:
1. Previous experience working directly with employers and brokers is preferred.
2. Experience working with plan documents is strongly preferred
3. Prior experience with a third party administrator or health benefits agency, particularly in account management, is strongly preferred.
4. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
