What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at Rover Trailers?
We are seeking a reliable and trainable individual to join our team as a General Laborer. A successful candidate will be cross trained in different areas of manufacturing including, but not limited to, wiring, prepping, painting/coating, installing, etc. The General Laborer will work closely with fellow team members to ensure work is performed in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
● Install wiring systems for trailers
● Troubleshoot issues as they arise
● Ensure work is performed in a safe and efficient manner
● Communicate effectively with fellow team members
● Keep accurate inventory of parts on hand
● Keep accurate records of work performed
● Wear proper PPE that uphold to OSHA Standards
● Cross Train in other areas to help with staffing needs
● Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
● Ability to read and execute SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)
● Strong attention to detail
● Ability to problem-solve
● Excellent communication skills
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
● Low voltage electrical experience is a positive
● Ability to use hand tools and power tools
● Willingness to learn
