Bilingual Receptionist Job Description

Skills Required:

  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Ability to protect confidentiality
  • One year experience in an office environment performing functions demonstrating independence, application of analytical skills, multitasking and use of organizational skills or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office, particularly with Word and Excel. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others as well as independently; detail oriented and analytical.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive visitors, act as the gatekeeper to co-workers and the facility, and receive and forward messages and/or contact information as deemed appropriate.
  • Answers, screens and routes outside and interoffice calls to the appropriate contact and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with departmental support functions to include, but not limited to, respond to employee inquiries by assessing need and providing service (i.e. forms needed to process employee request, referring employee to proper company protocol, reviewing documents submitted by employees or any third party and processing them as appropriate, etc.)
  • Assist with ensuring accurate completion of new hire paperwork.
  • Schedule interviews as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by management.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
