Nursing Home/Rehab Center – Buzzards Bay, MA

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• Food Service Certificate from an accredited college
• Associate or advanced degree from an accredited institution with a major in Food & Nutrition, Nutrition, Art Culinary or field preferred, but not necessary.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an upper management position with strong supervisory background.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administration & Food Service
• Leads Department and meets budgetary responsibilities by assuming cooking and meal preparation responsibilities.
• Responsible for the successful operation of all aspects of the Dining Services Department.
• Responsible for assuring that the Department meets all local, state, county and federal agency's regulations.
• Develops and/or approves menus in accordance with establishing governing agencies' standards
• Develops, implements and evaluates an effective quality assurance program.
• Develops policies and procedures addressing all aspects of the Dining Services Department.
• Develops and implements short and long term goals for the Department
