Food Service Director
Nursing Home/Rehab Center – Buzzards Bay, MA
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Food Service Certificate from an accredited college
- Associate or advanced degree from an accredited institution with a major in Food & Nutrition, Nutrition, Art Culinary or field preferred, but not necessary.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an upper management position with strong supervisory background.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administration & Food Service
- Leads Department and meets budgetary responsibilities by assuming cooking and meal preparation responsibilities.
- Responsible for the successful operation of all aspects of the Dining Services Department.
- Responsible for assuring that the Department meets all local, state, county and federal agency's regulations.
- Develops and/or approves menus in accordance with establishing governing agencies' standards
- Develops, implements and evaluates an effective quality assurance program.
- Develops policies and procedures addressing all aspects of the Dining Services Department.
- Develops and implements short and long term goals for the Department
