MDS COORDINATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitates weekly skilled Medicare meetings and provides clear communication regarding skilled coverage criteria
Transmits MDS to CMS and follows up to validate any errors or messages revealed on final validation reports
Completes all resident Interviews and PPS MDS assessments within regulatory time frames including CAT CAAs
Drives the development of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan and updates subsequent MDS Assessment
Participates and reviews invoices as indicated for skilled patients under consolidated billing
Maintains a current PPS schedule while setting all PPS MDS ARDs within time frames in the MDS software program
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current RN or LPN license in MA with previous experience in MDS
