Pay rate: $18/hr
Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Summary of Job: The Data Specialist position is responsible for inputting data into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. The Data Specialist position is also responsible for creating reports as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Performs data entry into the EHR system in a timely fashion in order to track data, such as admission and discharge dates, demographics, delays, denials, etc.
•Performs all billing services and submits billing in a timely fashion.
•Creates reports as needed, e.g., error, data quality, verification, authorization, service, etc.
•Communicates policy updates and/or procedural changes to staff as directed.
•Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
•Performs other related duties as assigned.

•Experience with electronic health record systems.
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Minimum of one (1) year of medical records experience.
•Minimum of one (1) year of data entry experience.
Driving Requirements:
•If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in RI International driving policy.
•If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.
A Program Support Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.
Physical Demands:
May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.
