Summary of Job: The Site Director is responsible for the overall operations of the program. They coordinate activities and work to develop and support the program to ensure success and continued growth. The Site Director plays a key role in management relationship with staff, providers and participants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and maintaining quality educational and support services.
- Develops adequate procedure for the referral, the admission and the discharge process.
- Coordinates the clinical activities of the program's multi-disciplinary team, facilitating communication between disciplines and assuring high quality care.
- Assures the quality of documentation in the clinical record in compliance with agency medical record policies.
- Develops and supports the program management team, analyzing problems, identifying areas of unmet needs, and seeking solutions.
- Oversees and monitors:
- Works with Support Services Coordinator or manager on staffing needs. Establishes and monitors work schedules to provide adequate coverage consistent with the overall objective of the program.
- Assures agency and program policies and procedures are followed.
- Coordinates with Human Resources with the recruiting and interviewing of personnel.
- Assures adequate orientation and training for all personnel.
- Assures adequate evaluation of the performance of personnel in accordance with agency's policies.
- Develops and manages methods to monitor and evaluate the program's effectiveness including outcome studies, customer satisfaction and contract reporting requirements.
- Coordinates the program's service within eternal customers
- Develops and maintains relationships with participating providers.
- Develops and maintains working relationships with police, fire, hospital emergency departments, MCO's and other treatment and referral sources.
- Establishes an alliance with peer support groups in the community.
- Promotes the growth of series and education and advocacy in the community.
- Works closely with Support Services Manager and Maintenance team on the physical environment and equipment, assuring availability of equipment and supplies and compliance with the line safety standards, building, and fire and sanitation codes. Reporting any concerns to the Director for follow up.
- Coordinates the hiring process to include interviewing applicants and making hiring recommendations.
- Provides orientation and ongoing training to staff and/or students.
- Supervises activities of staff and/or students including assignments of duties.
- Monitors the performance and evaluates on staff and/or students.
- Initiates disciplinary actions and recommends improvement plan or corrective action.
- Assists and monitors staff in maintaining employment related credentials and/or requirements.
- Provides' continual support and coaching to employees.
- Participates as an active member of the Program's Management Team.

- Master's degree with an emphasis in a behavioral health field or equivalent work experience.
- Five (4) years of behavioral health experience and three (2) years of management experience.
- Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience, or its part-time equivalent, working in a program serving people with mental disabilities.
- Certifies as an Independent Social Worker, Professional counselor, Substance Abuse Counselor, or other equivalent national certification preferred.
- Therapeutic Options Training within thirty (30) days of hire;
- CADC preferred;
- DE Mental Health Screener preferred (must obtain within 6 months);
- Successful completion of State criminal background check;
- Will be required to pass a pre-placement physical;
- Will be required to have TB test clearance;
- Computer literate. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Products;
- CPR/First Aid
- Five (4) years of behavioral health experience and three (2) years of management experience.

Driving Requirements:
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age to drive for company business
- Must possess an active and valid Driver's license;
- Have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) as determined by the Start Department of Motor Vehicles for the preceding give (5) years; and
Working Environment:
Works in general office environment, community, and behavioral health clinical areas. Some risk involved in the event of person being serviced having challenges with control which is mitigated by team training in verbal de-escalation skills. Must possess visual and audio skills to complete job duties.
Physical Requirements
