What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Maintenance Technician position at Royal Shell Vacations?
We are looking for a maintenance technician to work on our beautiful vacation homes and properties. You must be dependable with reliable transportation. You must have a minimum of two-years past hands-on hotel or property maintenance experience. Our maintenance techs are responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance in vacant and occupied vacation homes. Here are some of the job duties the maintenance tech is responsible for however this list is not all-inclusive. Other duties may be assigned.
- Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
- Diagnose and perform minor and routine maintenance/repair, as directed, involving the following on a daily basis.
- Report all major repairs and needs requisitions to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager prior to any expenditure of funds.
- Complete service requests within 24 hours, except emergencies which will be addressed immediately.
- Participate in a seven (7) day 24-hour rotating on-call schedule for emergency after-hour calls- Additional pay just for being for on-call, plus overtime for time worked over 40 hours.
- Must have computer skills to use an iPad, iPhone and to learn our software program. You will enter work orders on an Ipad.
- Must have a valid Florida driver's license and be able to pass MVR check and background check.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
