Primary Responsibility: This position provides and oversees the administrative functions within the Oakdale Forestry Department by supporting and assisting the managers and employees. Responsibilities include preparing and processing contractor-vendor correspondence and contracts; processing contractor-vendor tickets and settlements; preparing internal reports, records, and statistics; and maintaining an inventory of raw materials and supplies. He/she would also be responsible for developing presentations utilizing input from various sources, filing documentation, and additional assigned duties.
Job Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of office administration experience. He/she must possess excellent organizational skills and written and verbal communication skills. Experience with information systems and Microsoft Office programs, particularly Microsoft Excel, is required. He/she must be able to multi-task and have excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Cross-training in department operations is also required.

He/she must be able to maintain discretion and confidentiality and demonstrate good judgment and emotional intelligence. The candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
