**Job Title:** Veterinarian

**Job Overview:**

We are a non-profit clinic that provides spay/neuter and preventative care services for animal rescues/shelters/sanctuaries only. We hope to expand to low cost preventative care for the general public in years to come. This position would be completely customizable. You design your own schedule and work whatever days/hours you choose. We just ask that you average 30 hours per week. No client communication will be needed as we do not currently provide care to the public. Free veterinary care for your pets. Brand new 3000 sq ft clinic will be finished at the end of July. You will also be the primary provider for our animal rescue Rescued Pets Are Wonderful which is a rescue that focuses on major medical cases and seniors. It is an extremely great opportunity to see what most never will in their career!

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform comprehensive medical examinations on various animals

- Administer vaccinations and medications

- Conduct spay/neuter procedures at high volumes

- Maintain accurate medical records

**Qualifications:**

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree

- Valid state veterinary license

- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy

- Experience in animal catheterization, restraint, and aseptic techniques

- Proficiency in veterinary critical care

- Compassionate attitude towards animals

**Nice-to-Have Skills:**

- Previous experience in pet care or animal shelter settings
