Buyer / Planner -- Electronic Components
Electronics Manufacturing Services company needs a team player to work with the vendors in our supply chain to purchase and expedite electronic components for manufacturing electronic boards, cables, box builds, etc...
Experience and Skills required.
5 years prior experience as a buyer/planner required.
Experience buying electronic components is a plus and preferred. Computer savvy.
Respond to vendor inquiries on orders, change requests, delivery, etc...
Expedite PO's w/vendors to ensure delivery schedules are met.
Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files and reports.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and strong Excel skills.
Strong organizational, negotiation and communication skills.
MRP systems knowledge and ability to work in fast paced environment.
Works on customer quotes as necessary.
Prepare purchase orders for approval, review production orders against inventory, work with operations to get customer orders delivered on time.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
