We are seeking an Accounts Receivable to join our team in Chicago, IL. The Accounts Receivable position will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely AP processing, with a focus on Accounts Receivable, certified payroll, paycheck distribution, and Kronos timekeeping.
Key Responsibilities :
- Accounts Receivable : Ensure accuracy of monthly AP / AR payments.
- Certified Payroll : Assist in the preparation and submission of certified payroll reports as required by regulatory authorities.
- Package Tracking and Paycheck Distribution : Monitor and track packages, ensuring secure and timely delivery of weekly paychecks to employees.
- Timekeeping : Track daily timesheets and input into a CSV file.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications :
- Accounts Receivable experience 2-5 years.
- Understanding of per diem, Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), prevailing wages, union labor, and payroll procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft office, in particular advanced Excel skills.
Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent required;additional education or certification in payroll or related field preferred.
Previous experience in payroll support, union operations, or related roles is a plus.
