Daily Operations
o Administer and facilitates the employee benefits program such as health and welfare plans and paid-time off programs. Activities include employee presentation, enrollment, claims assistance, auditing, and notification to payroll concerning terminations and deduction changes.
o Develop and maintain the preferred provider network for the employee health care plan.
o Maintain complete and accurate records of leave and accommodation requests in accordance with specified legal requirements.
o Lead onboarding and benefit administration related tasks which include an extensive amount of tracking, auditing, and filing.
o Provide customer service and assistance to employees with health, dental, vision, 401(k), and other related benefit questions/claims.
o Assists with 401(k) administration & pension administration.
o Coordinate with Payroll to provide accurate deductions and earnings for employee benefits.
o Responsible to ensure that benefit plan documents and insurance policies are developed, approved, and amended as necessary, and the integrity of benefit programs are maintained by confirming that plans are nondiscriminatory and meet necessary legal requirements.
o Responsible for communicating benefits information to employees through distribution of summary annual reports, benefit booklet preparation and distribution.

Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products. Must have dexterous use of both hands. Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations. Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use. Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes.
This is medium work requiring good, corrected vision, hearing, lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, pushing, pulling and the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
