What are the responsibilities and job description for the CPHT position at RPCS, Inc?
Reports Directly to:
Pharmacist in Charge, Staff Pharmacist

In this friendly, flexible team environment, you will play an important role in helping us to provide outstanding service in a clean and friendly atmosphere. Your role as a leader in the store will be to empower associates and solve problems through critical thinking. Additional requirements are to provide professional pharmaceutical services to customers assisting the pharmacist on staff as needed.
Daily Operations
o Providing exceptional service to all clientele
o Communicating with the Pharmacist, and Pharmacist in Charge, regarding any issues or concerns
o Operating the cash register, accepting new prescriptions, calling doctor’s offices, accepting refill requests, data entry, counting, filling bottles, and labeling prescriptions
o Verifying invoices, checking medication expiration dates, and submitting orders
o Monitoring suspicious behavior or excessive requests
Company Standards
o Must be registered in the state of Missouri and comply with all pharmacy laws
o Maintaining proper training and staying knowledgeable on policy changes
o Enforcing compliance with HIPAA guidelines and maintaining proper security over all medication
o Complying with all company policies including following dress code, wearing a name tag, and maintaining a proper image of Pharmacy Operations within the community
Must be able to lift 20 lb. boxes on occasion and / or exert 10 to 20 lbs. of force frequently and / or
10 to 20 lbs of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products. Must have
dexterous use of both hands. Must be able to stand and move about to various work stations.
Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use. Must
be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or
removing product from boxes.
This is medium work requiring good corrected vision, hearing, lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling,
standing, reaching, pushing, pulling and the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
