We are seeking a full-time Asbestos Inspector-Project Monitor / Industrial Hygienist to join our team in the Portland, ME area.

Maine certification in asbestos inspections, project monitor, and analyst required. Certification in other New England states is desirable. Associates degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Biology, Chemistry or related field or commensurate years related work experience preferred.

The prospective candidate must have strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, asbestos industry and regulations, project monitoring, inspections and general industrial hygiene principles and practices. Ability to work independently and must be adaptable to changing work environments, have positive and customer focused outlook, and strong technical writing and organizational skills.

Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check and pre-employment physical to include a respirator clearance exam. A current Covid vaccine is also needed.

Must be able to travel to customer sites, transport equipment related to inspection, sampling, and monitoring activities, and perform occasional weekend or off-hour work shifts.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
