We are seeking a skilled Body Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metalworking, welding, and fabrication techniques. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, repair, and modify metal components for commercial vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and buses.
- Interpret blueprints and specifications to create or modify parts.
- Shape, cut, weld, and assemble metal components to fit the vehicle.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including welding equipment and CNC machinery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fabrication or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Experience with metalworking tools and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
