Full-Time Charity Ambassador Role - Entry Level

We're seeking outgoing candidates to join our team, where you'll represent a globally recognized charity focused on making a meaningful impact on kids in the foster care system. Here you will play a crucial role as the face of the organization. In this role on a daily basis you will be participating in various, local, in person events, both indoors and outdoors. During these events, your role will involve engaging with potential donors, explaining our mission, and answering any questions they may have. The goal is to raise maximum funds for our cause while fostering enjoyable interactions and building connections.

We seek candidates who are extremely personable and at ease conversing with diverse groups in public settings. Successful individuals within our company typically have previous experience in positions like servers, sales associates, college students, or general customer service roles. This is an entry level, in person role, no prior experience is required. Candidates applying must have their own transportation to and from events.

Role Functions:

• Attending fundraising events at diverse high-traffic locations such as markets, festivals, stores, and restaurants, both indoors and outdoors, for our organization
• Communicate our organization's history, mission, and objectives to potential donors
• Engage with a wide variety of potential donors on a daily basis 
• Encourage guests to donate to our cause and explain where the funds will go
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and successful outcomes
• Ensure precise documentation of customer interactions and sales information
• Set up and take down event equipment as need
• Participate in meetings to discuss and report how campaigns are doing
• Engage and brainstorm fundraising ideas 

Qualifications required:

• High school diploma or Equivalent (18 )
• Must possess personal transportation for commuting to and from work
• Outstanding abilities in customer service and cultivating relationships
• You’re able to start work as soon as possible
• Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors
• Must be comfortable speaking with various individuals all day 
• Must be comfortable standing for multiple hours at a time 
• You thrive on challenges and see the value in a target-driven position
• Eager to learn and develop within the position
