Job summary:
Our clients are seeking outgoing candidates to join their local team of fundraisers, where you'll represent a globally recognized charity focused on making a meaningful impact on our youth. Our organization strives to meet the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children. We focus our efforts on advocacy, intervention, treatment, prevention, family resilience and community outreach.You will play a crucial role as the front lines of the organization.
In this role on a daily basis you will be participating in various, local, in person events, both indoors and outdoors. At these events you will be speaking with potential donors, explaining our mission, and answering any questions they may have. The goal is to raise as many funds as possible for our cause, while having fun and making connections.
We are looking for candidates who are highly personable and comfortable speaking with a wide variety of people in public. They must also be comfortable encouraging and asking guests if they would like to sponsor an item that will then be donated to the kids.
Overall role functions:
- Fundraising in various high foot traffic locations and events (indoors and outdoors) like markets, festivals, stores, and restaurants for our organization
- Having an ever growing knowledge on our organizations history, mission, and goals to answer questions from potential donors
- Engage with a wide variety of potential donors on a daily basis
- Encourage guests to donate to our cause and explain where the funds will go
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and successful outcomes
- Set up and take down event setup
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales data
- Participate in meetings to discuss and report how campaigns are doing
- Engage and brainstorm fundraising ideas

Qualifications required:
- Have a high school diploma or GED (18 )
- Have your own vehicle to go to and from work
- You’re able to start work as soon as possible
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skill
- Must be comfortable speaking with various individuals all day
- Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors
- Must be comfortable standing for multiple hours at a time
- You thrive on challenges and see the value in a target-driven position.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
