Full Time Sales Associate Role
Job Details:
In this role you will be working at various events, such as markets, shopping plazas, festivals, etc. conversing with guests at events to sell backpacks full of school supplies, toiletries, and toys. The backpacks sold are then donated to a renowned charity of over 50 years supporting kids in the foster care system, and fighting against child abuse. Just the small gesture of a backpack full of their own belongings can help a child feel more at ease at their new placement. In this role you will also explain and advocate for the organization, and explain where those backpacks are being donated to for the guest interested in purchasing .

Qualifications we’re looking for:
- Must have a driver's license and own reliable transportation to events
- High school diploma or GED required (must be 18 )
- Must be comfortable engaging with various groups of people all day
- Must be self motivated and driven to hit donation goals
- Must be able to stand for multiple hours at a time
- Must be able to work outdoors
Daily responsibilities:
- Attend different in person events (both indoors and outdoors) at various locations to sell supplies to be donated to our charity organization
- Strive to turn every conversation into a backpack, bike, or subscription sold
- Explain to guests the organization, what we do, and explain where that backpack donation is going
- Set up and take down fundraising set up at events
- Self motivated to meet individual and team goals
- Participate in team meetings and mandatory trainings where goals will be discussed, set, and also contribute individual feedback to improve our efforts
- Learn about the creation and development of fundraising campaigns, the set up, the execution/presenting our charity partners' message to the community, and reporting back with results
