Project Description:
This product manager will ideate and drive new capabilities by leveraging data and industry knowledge. Day-to-day, they will partner with existing product managers and product development teams to prioritize and drive new capabilities to completion.
Position Overview:
- Review stakeholder and partner requests to determine priority and customer benefit
- Create new feature documentation that includes objectives, KPIs, supporting data and high-level user stories
- Relationship management with key partners, stakeholders, and product teams
- Identify impacted teams and communicate benefits and status throughout the development life cycle.
- Continue to evaluate product performance and key customer insights and ensure new product needs are identified far enough in advance to address needs potential business or customer impacts.
- Accountable for definition of MVP and whether it meet customer needs
- Accountable for detailed user stories aligning with high-level goals
- Responsible for bringing forth roadmap ideas and helping craft the product vision based on knowledge of the product, customers, and team goals
- Responsible for reviewing analytics, customer feedback inputs, and meeting with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to drive the business and improve the customer experience
- Responsible for reviewing intake submissions and determining if the customer need is already in progress or if it meets team goals
- Responsible for tracking and reporting KPIs and benefits after feature release
- Responsible for building business cases and setting goals
- Responsible for identifying the scope and making trade-off decisions
What would a normal day for this position look like??
- Day to day activity varies, but the individual would analyze data, performance metrics, and customer feedback to drive product features.
- In working with product leads, this individual will document and identify new features, and should provide clear communication around customer benefit and success metrics.
- This individual will meet with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and product teams regularly to align on deliverables.
- This individual would also assist with ideation and roadmap management.
