3rd Shift Assembler Position responsibilities: Follow detailed procedures to perform routine assembly and packing work. Pick and package a variety of printed materials or print related items that require a limited variety of packing procedures and techniques. Place, arrange, mark, seal, and tag items on pallets and in containers, bins, and bulk storage.
Consolidate various items for shipment in accordance with standard operating instructions. Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipping. Count and sort various product items. Perform related tasks such as placing labels on packages, putting manuals into binders, and handling boxes for final product. Ensure accurate shipping information is attached and packages are shipped according to specified schedule.
The pay range for this role at the noted location is $14.00 to $15.00 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay. Required Skills
Responsibilities: Manually assemble various types of products/kits as specified by the customer work order.
Must be able to:
o Read and follow work order instructions
o Follow assembly processes and procedures precisely
o Achieve expected rate while assembling customer product accurately
o Fold boxes and package customer product efficiently o Perform all functions of pack out accurately
o Count accurately, watch scales for variances, and scan properly
o Place labels precisely on product
o Watch for faulty, damaged, or nicked materials or packages to ensure the Quality Policy and Objectives are being met
o Notify lead when assembly/component inventory supplies are low
o Communicate with co-workers in a positive, business-like manner
o Comply with all facility safety and work rules; including, but not limited to security requirements, following proper procedures for accident/incident reporting, emergency evacuation, etc.
o Demonstrate a professional demeanor.
Required Experience
1 year manufacturing experience.
