This is not a work from home/remote position. The position is full-time at our headquarters in Monroe, NC.
Qualifications:
Previous sourcing experience and importing experience
Experience working with suppliers on new product development from design to execution.
Experience with a wide range of manufacturing processes.
Action oriented individual that takes on opportunities and challenges with a strong sense of ownership and drive
Strong ability to plan and prioritize while using resources effectively and efficiently
High level of skill in analysis of data
Ability to independently plan, coordinate and execute work and communicate that work to leaders.
Superior understanding of the supply chain
Must thrive in an environment where your managing multiple projects and resources simultaneously
Responsibilities:
Research and evaluate potential new suppliers.
Develop and deliver new products to RRI Goods to drive revenue growth.
Onboard new suppliers that meet the companies’ criteria and develop those relationships.
Manage supplier relationships, streamline procurement processes, ensure suppliers are ready to meet the requirements being asked of them.
Conduct market research to stay up to date on new trends in the industry, procure new products based on those trends that ensure a competitive advantage.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
Stay updated on industry regulations, compliance standards and sustainability.
Some cross over projects with our sister company
Housekeeping
Full time position no remote/work from home option.
