What are the responsibilities and job description for the Communication Coordinator position at RS&H?
The Opportunity
RS&H seeks a communications coordinator to join our team in the Jacksonville, Tampa, or Denver area. Working in a hybrid environment (office and remotely), each day will differ slightly from the last. You'll coordinate and collaborate with partners across the organization to implement multi-channel internal and external campaigns that support RS&H's business goals and initiatives.
A big part of your role is understanding a campaign’s goals and objectives, aligning stakeholders and contributors to a project or campaign plan, effectively developing and implementing the plan, and reporting results. You’ll serve as the primary writer of campaigns, partnering closely with creative, digital, marketing, communications, and subject matter experts. Your responsibilities will also include managing or supporting various communication channels and media, such as newsletters, the intranet, social media, print, etc.
Requirements:
Here’s what you need to be successful:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field and at least 3 years of experience creating and managing complex, multi-channel campaigns and content. We will also accept 6 years of progressive communications experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- Working in a highly collaborative environment, you seek to understand project goals and outcomes. You use this information to develop messaging and campaign/project plans that resonate with audiences. You’re an effective project manager who proactively communicates with project stakeholders, solicits input, measures the effectiveness of campaign tactics, and reports results.
- You’re resourceful. You proactively research to develop new ideas, independently solve problems with general supervision, and make decisions while soliciting feedback from leadership and partners to ensure you're aligned with overall direction and objectives.
- Quality, error-free content is important to you. You pay attention to details, adhere to brand and style guidelines, and implement a quality control process.
- You like to write, work collaboratively, and get things done. You thrive working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and feedback points. You are deadline-oriented while also able to adapt quickly to change.
- You are proficient in working with all Microsoft applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience in digital platforms like Hootsuite, MailChimp, and WordPress is a plus but not required. We will train you.

Hiring Salary Range: ($56,700 - $91,400) — for this location. The final agreed upon compensation is commensurate with experience relative to the position and/or primary work location.
