Job Brief
RSAnalysis, Inc. is an AABC certified environmental test and balance company providing comprehensive services for a diverse range of facilities, including hospitals, schools, laboratories, and commercial buildings. Whether you are installing a new system or are interested in improving the efficiency of an existing system, we will ensure that your equipment performs as intended and operates at optimum levels. We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist who will be a key member of the Accounting team.
Principal Responsibilities
- Research and maintain accounts receivable aging and contact past due accounts for collections.
- Post daily activity to customer accounts (deposits, payments, voids, etc.)
- Create and distribute invoices.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted at month-end.
- Reconcile / balance assigned G/L accounts for month end closings.
- Build and maintain good and effective relations with the inside and outside parties.
- Detect issues in early stages and works actively to resolve any conflicts.
- Research and maintain accounts receivable aging and contact past due accounts for collections.
- Handle overflows from other departments and ad hoc projects as needed
Experience and Skills
- 3 years’ minimum experience handling accounts receivable.
- 1 year minimum experience with certified payroll.
- Experience with ADP and Procontractor preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must possess a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Ability to work effectively to meet department deadlines on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Ability to multitask.
- Exhibits strong customer services skills dealing with customers or clients.
- Must have the ability to adapt to change in procedures and processes.
Pay range: starting at $25/hr based on experience
