What are the responsibilities and job description for the Orthodontic Front Desk position at RSDA?
We are looking for a compassionate, experienced and detail-oriented front desk employee to join our private practice team as our Orthodontic Front Desk/Scheduling Coordinator.
Bilingual (Spanish) a huge plus
This position requires an outgoing personality with excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task well. We are looking for an outgoing, motivated orthodontic receptionist with experience who will treat our patients with respect and professionalism. We are a friendly, passionate and hardworking privately owned orthodontic office dedicated to providing a great patient experience each visit.
- Be the first point of contact for new and existing patients. Help make the patients feel like part of the family and cared for even more than they had hoped
- Help the treatment coordinator provide a streamlined experience from day 1 for our patients and their family members
- Maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations
- Answer and manage incoming calls
- Verify insurance benefits
- Schedule patient appointments
- Confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol
- Check daily appointment schedule and fill in cancellations and no-shows
- Organize referrals to other specialists
SKILLS:
- 1 year experience in an Orthodontic practice strongly preferred. 1 year experience in a Dental practice required
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with all levels of employees and public.
- Excellent organizational skills; strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and perform job duties in a timely manner.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs as needed
