JPosition Summary:
The Director of Project Management Office (PMO) plays a key role in standardizing project management processes, ensuring that every initiative, from smallest tweak to grandest vision, aligns perfectly with the company’s strategic goals. You will be ensuring the successful execution of projects across all departments and fostering a culture of excellent and continuous improvement. In this role, you will be lifting our projects to new heights!
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, measuring, and managing transformation projects, including tracking progress and ensuring transparency for stakeholders.
- Act as a coach, sparring partner, or manager for various implementation projects, maintaining project momentum.
- Continue developing the established project management organization and routines, ensuring high data quality.
- Assist in prioritizing projects, tracking milestones, and managing qualitative and quantitative controlling instruments.
- Develop solutions and additional measures for project deviations, in collaboration with project managers.
- Translate corporate strategy into actionable plans and support change management initiatives.
- Further develop PMO organizational structures and facilitate transparency and effective communication.
- Serve as an interface between management, internal teams, and external stakeholders, supporting sustainable development.
- Work closely with top management to analyze, evaluate, and implement strategic, structural, and operational measures, including organizing advisory board and committee meetings.
Qualifications:
- Must have a degree in Business Administration in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ·Experience in a strategy or management consultancy or a similar role with proven success.
- Reliable interface management between commercial management, operations, and technology.
- Must have knowledge and understanding of all business processes in a service business, preferably in health, fitness, or lifestyle sectors.
- Expertise in all aspects of project management, including the use of classic PMO tools (e.g., Scrum, digital tools).
- Excellent analytical skills, quick comprehension, and experience with large datasets.
- Proficiency in change management and persistence in implementing measures.
- Strong leadership, managerial skills, and the ability to create an inspiring work environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both for detailed work and presenting to top management.
- Must have flexibility, pragmatic approach, and ability to work independently.
- Must have exceptional time-management skills and be able to execute tasks and responsibilities in an ever-changing environment.
- Must have a strong social competence, commitment, willingness to learn, and initiative.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Knowledge of additional languages (e.g., German) is a plus.
