Summary/Objective

This position will lead IT & cybersecurity risk and control activities for the Risk & Audit department. The successful candidate will collaborate with team members to assess risk, design and implement appropriate controls, coordinate remediation efforts, investigate operational events, and consolidate the risk profile.

• Pre-sales support

• Build and optimize delivery system, documentation, templates, methodology, and process
• Client-facing billable work 50% at minimum

Required Education and Experience

1. Current CPA certification.
2. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required. 
3. Experience in IT audit and SOC 2 at a CPA firm providing SOC 2 services required.
4. 8 ~ 10 years of experience with SOC 2 audit.
5. Business development and sales skills. 
6. Excellent time management skills.
7. Ability to organize and prioritize daily business development activity.
8. Ability to sell and develop relationships across all industries to a diverse clientele.
9. Experienced in preparing written proposals and presentations.
10. Proven success in negotiating agreements and closing deals.
11. Demonstrated leadership ability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 
12. Extremely organized with proven ability to independently manage multiple projects.
13. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, diplomacy and professionalism around sensitive topics.
14. Proficient in SOC 2 compliance tool and methodology
15. Proficient in Google Suite
16. Proficient in Salesforce
     

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and regular hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.; however, this position can regularly require long hours and frequent weekend work.

Travel

Travel is primarily out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. Travel amount <25%

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Must have an active driver’s license.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)

Must be authorized to work in the United States. Each candidate is required to comply with federal and local laws and authorization will be checked through E-verify.
