What are the responsibilities and job description for the NetSuite FAO Supervisor position at RSM?
- Lead client design sessions to analyze requirements and redesign business processes in connection with FAO best practices in areas such as chart of account redesign, procure to pay, order to cash, etc.
- Track completion of tasks, milestones, and components including but not limited to functional specifications, design specifications, configurations, quality assurance, implementations, and project reviews
- Work with and lead the implementation team to create and execute testing scenarios in NetSuite, implement process improvements with systematic solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the implementation project to achieve business goals, including Project Management team, FAO technology support team, FAO client accounting team and other lines of business within RSM.
- Lead client facing and internal training sessions of NetSuite systems features and applications
- Develop customized saved searches for shared business user usage and to support integration needs
- Develop informational reports
- Take a hands-on approach to troubleshooting
- Participate in activities with prospective clients, including solution demonstrations
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, MIS or Information Systems
- 5 years of experience with Oracle NetSuite
- Experience working on a technical implementation project
- Expertise in process analysis and redesign of business processes
- Strong time management and organizational skills with sensitivity to timeframes, budgets and outcomes across multiple clients and projects
- Ability to prioritize and stay organized/focused in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment with competing demands
- Strong technology skills and ability to quickly learn and use new technology software applications
- Dedication to lifelong learning, including staying abreast of best practices in financial management enabled by technology
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledgeable in relational database architecture and methods including hands-on experience in developing SQL queries desired
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be a team player and be able to effectively interact with staff at all levels of the firm
- Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent client skills and customer relationship management skills
- Solid understanding of business and information technology processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms
- Experience in a public accounting firm, consulting firm or other professional services environment
- Prior work experience in the accounting field and knowledge of GAAP
