What are the responsibilities and job description for the RSM Recruitment Marketing Lead position at RSM?
- Working with the RSM IMC Talent Experience leader, RSM Brand Leader and RSM Marketing Leader, and RSM Chief Communications officer, develop messaging and strategies to engage and motivate candidates around RSM’s talent value proposition. Ensure RSM’s employer brand messaging is consistent and aligned with RSM’s vision, strategy and values by working in close partnership with RSM’s communications team, talent acquisition team, the culture diversity and inclusion team and various IMC COEs.
- Develop inbound and outbound marketing strategies, tactics and deliverables to increase awareness, interest and drive applications among targeted audiences as defined in partnership with RSM’s talent acquisition team. This includes: management and enhancement of marketing capabilities in the candidate relationship management system, social marketing strategies, enhancing the candidate experience, target audience profiling, website, digital and recruitment advertising.
- Working with the RSM digital marketing and IT teams help design and evaluate market-facing digital interfaces to ensure that we are delivering a compelling RSM talent and candidate experience across all platforms.
- Stay abreast of employer branding, recruitment marketing and professional services marketing trends and best practices to inform strategies.
- Build relationships and collaborate across IMC, talent acquisition and culture, diversity and inclusion teams to ensure messaging is aligned and content is maximized across all groups.
- Develop and oversee a program to measure, monitor and ensure quality deliverables across employer brand marketing activities to ensure that programs are high-quality, efficient, cost effective and achieving intended results.
- Develop and cultivate relationships with organizations and individuals that can help position RSM’s differentiated experience with key stakeholder groups. This includes but is not limited to management of third-party vendors in partnership with talent acquisition operations, strategic partnerships such as DE&I organizations, strategies for building stronger relationships with professors and campuses, etc.
- Serves as career advisor and supports the management of the recruitment marketing team’s workload, focus on strategic priorities, oversight on quality and strategic alignment of deliverables.

- BA – Communications, Marketing or Related Field with proven experience (Required)
- MA – Communications, Marketing or Related Field (Preferred)
- Requires collaboration across leadership in Marketing, Communications, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and the Business
- Deep understanding of various competencies related to recruitment marketing and marketing accounting, tax and consulting services.
- Understanding candidate needs, both experienced and campus
- Minimum 7 years marketing experience, 2 years recruiting (or recruitment marketing) experience (Required)
- Experience in a large professional services or similar organization with proven abilities to collect, synthesize and manage market/client data, and develop and implement direct marketing, advertising, PR, social media, branding and digital marketing initiatives (Preferred)
- Must exhibit an exceptional client-service attitude, possess outstanding people skills and take a proactive approach in working with employees.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to motivate, advise, influence and deliver tough prescriptive messages to both stakeholders and others
- Demonstrated skills in diagnostics, analytics, coordination, collaboration and planning.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously.
- Seeks ongoing improvement by systematically performing gap analyses, and factoring learning into counter-measures for all areas of responsibility.
