Essential Job Functions
Perform daily tasks associated with food production operations for Fresh & Ready Foods. Replenish food items on the production line and while maintain assembly area clean. Adheres to high quality, quantity, and sanitation standards. Responsible for accurately assembling all food products within a set production timeline. Ensure a high level of quality on all food items by following instructions from line leaders/supervisors/managers and production reports. Work effectively with production team to ensure that all daily, weekly and monthly production goals are met.
Responsibilities
- Promptly replenish food items on a fast pace, to assigned assembly line
- Checking and controlling equipment that assembles food
- Maintain machines clean after each use
- Assist in loading and unloading food items and ensure that they are stored appropriately as instructed by Line Leaders, Supervisors, and Managers
- Monitor, count, record food units
- Ensure food preparation and presentation is attractive at all times
- Ensure food frozen food items are stored and rotated according to companys Food Manufacturing Practices
- Ensure food products are processed and prepared according to company standards of cleanliness and hygiene in addition to USDA and FDA Guidelines
- Comply with First-In First-Out food safety systems and procedures,
- Perform preventative and general maintenance on food production equipment
- Clean counters and floors to ensure a safe working environment is adhered
- Perform duties on the packaging line by loading and adjusting items
- Monitor quality food items are up to company standards,
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP),
- May work in other food production areas or count units as needed
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Identify opportunities and find solutions for continuous improvement; and
- Other duties as assigned by Line Leaders, Supervisors, and Managers
Requirements
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, this includes coolers and freezers with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be willing to work flexible schedule and extended hours as needed, including nights and weekends
- Must be able to work in a fast while keeping an accurate count of inventory
- Must have impeccable personal hygiene
- Must be able to lift weights up to 50 with or without reasonable accommodation
