Job Profile Summary

This position plans, organizes and implements sourcing and selection activities for exempt, non-exempt, represented and non-represented positions throughout the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL:

  • Proactively sources and recruits using a variety of sources to attract the most qualified candidates to the organization, meeting departmental needs and diversity objectives.
  • Manages assigned recruitments through full lifecycle methodology. Establishes sourcing pipeline for select positions.
  • Communicates timely and clearly with support staff, hiring teams and candidates/applicants regarding status of the requisition and/or application.
  • Ensures all hiring paperwork, forms and computer entries are completed accurately, thoroughly, and submitted within established time requirements. Verifies appropriate background and drug screen processes are completed and acceptable prior to hire.
  • Actively participates in events designed to build/enhance relationships with outreach organizations for the purpose of building the organization’s recruitment brand and ensuring visibility in the community.
  • Maintains/enhances recruitment knowledge and strategies through continuing education, including such topics as ADA, EEO and government compliance.

  • The work environment is a typical office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Labor Relations or related degree preferred.
  • Professional HR certification preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in full lifecycle, high volume recruiting.
  • A minimum of three years of experience utilizing applicant tracking systems.
  • Union recruiting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in current employment law.
  • Understanding of basic job description development, job analysis and compensation calculation.
  • Possess business acumen with the ability to build professional relationships and foster teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • Ability to use sound judgment and the ability to maintain the strictest of confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details.
