Job Summary
This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role that requires regular engagement with the customer, Program Management Office (PMO), in-country translators, and other functions such as Engineering, Logistics, and Finance. You will leverage a drive for working with international businesses by means of self-motivation and high level organization while managing multiple priorities at the same time. In addition, you will bring a passion for learning and practicing new skills. Responsibilities to Anticipate
In this role, you will directly support various end customers who use Raytheon Technologies’ products in vibrant and changing environments. Your main responsibilities will include:
Placing international purchase orders for materials, services, and consumables across locations in the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Europe, from requesting quotes through negotiations and execution
Managing supplier performance and relationships, as well as identifying new sources of supply as needed
Developing metrics and reports to manage flow of material from origin through delivery
Constantly communicating with various internal and external stakeholders regarding needs and updates
Qualifications You Must Have
- Minimum 2 years’ professional experience in a business, supply chain or similar role
- Required Education (including Major): BS/BA from a 4 year accredited college or university
Qualifications We Value
- International work experience or exposure to various cultures
- Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems
- Previous DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Expert use of MS Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams
- Multilingual
- Experience creating and delivering written reports and presentations to managers, peers, and other stakeholders
- Previous experience working in teams environment
- Experience applying analytical, problem solving skills
- Data analysis and metrics development
