Job Summary
Our diverse, energetic, and collaborative Global Supply Chain (GSC) Management team offers an excellent opportunity to join our dynamic growth-oriented environment supporting the Phalanx, RAM, and Stinger Programs. In this role the individual will foster relationships with suppliers and subcontractors in a fashion consistent with contemporary supply chain models, recognizing the role and value of each participant through the acquisition lifecycle from requirements generation through product delivery, product support and payment for products and services. You’ll engage in supplier performance, relationship management, strategic sourcing as well as facilitate complex business agreements in support of the various contracts.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Preparation and issuance of RFPs
Performing cost analysis techniques in support of proposals
Developing negotiation strategies and leading formal negotiations for purchase orders at the $10M value
Placing subcontracts and purchase orders of medium and high complexity in accordance with all regulatory (ie, FAR / DFAR) and Raytheon corporate compliance requirements
Nurturing professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors
Works closely with the program and other functional groups (ie, Operations, Quality, Engineering, etc…) to achieve business objectives including financial goals
Develops plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements (schedule, technical and quality), in support of flawless supplier execution for Programs supported
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in supply chain or contracts management, with at least 6 years of procurement/acquisition experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
Qualifications We Value:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management, business or engineering
Project management skills and knowledge of earned value management performance measurement
SAP procurement / MRP system experience
Procurements involving Statements of Work (SOWs)
Familiarity with International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) regulations
Demonstrated knowledge with FAR /DFAR regulated proposals (ie, FAR 15.4) and procurements
Experience in Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Type (ie, CPFF, CPIF and T&M) procurements
Strong written communications
