Position:
RPR is seeking a talented and dynamic Senior Account Executive to join our growing team. A successful candidate must be able to multitask, have a passion for the PR industry, and possess an independent, yet collaborative, work ethic. An ideal candidate should also have the knowledge and expertise to assist on multiple accounts of various industries, and meet tight deadlines.
*This is an in-office role Monday through Thursday at our Midtown Manhattan office. Fridays are remote.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional client service and account/project management
- Facilitate and develop strategic plans/programs, including, but not limited to, press materials, media campaigns, and strategic partnerships
- Lead specific media efforts focused on fostering impactful editorial relationships and generating significant media coverage
- Demonstrate the ability to adeptly execute a full range of written materials, including client correspondence, press releases, media pitches, status reports, and more
- Oversee client projects (including events, launches, and media programs) from concept to execution—managing budgets, timelines, status updates, reporting, and junior staff, as needed
- Bring industry/category contacts to the table, where appropriate
- Communicate new and significant ideas to keep our clients relevant in the industry, from press pitches to contributing strategic thinking for campaigns
- Serve as client point-of-contact on assigned accounts, coordinating multiple projects
- Manage the work of AEs, AAEs, ACs, and interns
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS in public relations, journalism, business communications, or related field[v1]
- 4 years’ agency experience in the financial, technology, real estate, and health and wellness industries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with national, state, and local media with a proven track record in securing press coverage
- Already possessing established media contacts and relationships, while continuing to build new ones
- Ability to work well with team members and take direction in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and detail-oriented
- Deliver work on time without sacrificing quality
- Creative professional with an energetic personality
