Produce Clerk/Fruit & Vegetable lover
Rubinette Produce, the independent, farm-driven fruit and vegetable wonderland inside Providore Fine Foods, is seeking a produce clerk.
The produce clerk will join a team that ensures our wide variety of fruits and vegetables are cleaned, trimmed, packaged, rotated and stocked. In addition, we also hope you will share a wealth of vegetable and fruit love with our highly-engaged customer base while finding ways to present our Oregon bounty in all its natural glory. Geeking-out is highly encouraged.
Experience working for fruit & vegetable farm at the farmer's market, in organic retail produce or in a restaurant with a vegetable focus preferred. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for locally grown and unusual produce, a strong work ethic and an understanding attitude towards both fellow staff and customers. Please be creative, engaging, detailed and honest. Preference will be given to candidates with wet rack set up experience.
Pay starts at $17/hour DOE, with wage reviews after 90 days. We offer fully funded health care benefits after 90 days as well as paid time off and retirement benefits after one year service. All staff enjoy 30% store discount upon hire.
We currently need coverage for approximately 30 hours/week. Must be available for evening and weekend shifts.
