Position Details:
***This position is a project-based assignment at this time. There is a program audit/renewal this summer. The length of the position may extend or become permanent.
Hours: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm daily
Part-time position

Position:
The compliance manager ensures that staff members follow the rules and regulations set forth by the Department of Social Services, the Fire Marshall, the Department of Health and Environmental, Ruby’s Academy and other programs. These regulations are provided to programs serving young children and must be implemented in order to serve young children in a safe, learning environment.



Expectations:
  • In collaboration with the Director, develop, implement, and oversee the day-to-day operations of comprehensive childcare programs and services that align with Ruby's Academy's mission and values.


  • Ensure compliance with the regulatory licensed childcare center. Update renewal paperwork for staff and students.


  • Monitor and report on program compliance and make recommendations for improvements. Use compliance software to train and monitor staff

  • Consistently address issues of non-compliance with staff (counsel staff who are out of compliance, physically visit classrooms, write reprimands, report to the director, etc.).

  • Ensure that Ruby’s Academy promotes and maintains a safe, positive, inclusive, respectful, stimulating and engaging environment for children

  • Establish and implement processes and systems for licensing, training, onboarding, staff scheduling

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree in early childhood education or a related field (preferred, but will consider all applicants)


  • Management experience: Ability to motivate and ensure compliance with professionalism.
