We are looking for a skilled IT Network Engineer with Cisco experience to join our team. As an IT Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. - Design, configure, deploy, and support Cisco network solutions, including switches, routers, wireless access points, and security appliances.
- Manage and optimize network performance, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions to maximize uptime and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network upgrades and expansions based on business requirements.
- Monitor network traffic and security events, implementing appropriate measures to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users and IT teams for network-related issues.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and best practices to maintain an accurate and up-to-date network environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Cisco technologies and best practices, recommending enhancements and improvements as needed.
- Participate in project planning and implementation, ensuring that network infrastructure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure network equipment and services, negotiating contracts and service level agreements.
- Strong knowledge of networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with cloud networking, SD-WAN technologies, and network automation tools is desirable.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a network engineer, with a focus on Cisco Meraki technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco products, including Dashboard administration, network configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with network security concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are preferred, with specific Meraki certifications being a plus.
