Job Summary:
Ruggable has tremendous momentum in Australia and we are now looking to build a local team to lead the next journey of growth. We are looking to bring in a Marketing Associate to become a core member of our team in Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for managing site optimization/digital merchandising and CRM/retention activities. You will also support other growth initiatives aimed at localizing and growing the brand in Australia. This is a high-impact and unique opportunity to advance your career in a high-growth direct-to-consumer company.
This role will be based in Melbourne or Sydney, Australia.
What You’ll Do:
E-commerce
Improve and optimize the performance of our Australia website
Own ongoing website updates and maintenance; Manage visual merchandising content for the website (on Shopify) - supporting promotions, product launches, and other ongoing updates
Run A/B testing and analyze results data to generate actionable insights for merchandising, creative, and messaging optimization
Collaborate with SEO specialists to optimize website content for improved search engine rankings and visibility
CRM / Retention
Build and run our customer retention / email marketing campaigns
Grow our customer list with clear marketing KPIs in mind (whether acquisition or engagement)
Optimize on all aspects of campaigns including copy, creative, and send times by continuously testing and measuring
Improve the customer journey on site sign up through data-driven insights
Growth initiatives
Perform analyses and research / support the execution of strategic initiatives to grow our business
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree
1-2 years of E-commerce and/or Digital Merchandising experience
Experience (or willingness to learn) key E-commerce / ESP tools and platforms including: Shopify, Klaviyo, SearchSpring, Yotpo, Tapcart, Contentful, Google Analytics, Heap, Tableau, Asana and Jira
Analytical and strong quantitative skills / Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
High quality standards with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously
Ability to problem-solve collaboratively with cross-functional team members
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Entrepreneurial spirit, willingness to learn, and excitement to build and scale a business from the ground up
Preferred (but not required):
Experience in a DTC start-up environment
Compensation:
100,000 AUD per year base salary ($65k USD)
An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
