To be considered for these exceptional career opportunities you must have at least the following:

· Ability to work one of two shifts available: First shift Monday through Thursday 5:00am to 4:00pm; or second shift Monday through Thursday 3:30pm to 2:00am

· High School Diploma or GED

· Working knowledge of computers and computer systems

· 5 years machining experience

· 3 years setup experience

· Experience using inspection equipment such as calipers and micrometers

· Blueprint reading and first piece inspection knowledge

· Proven mechanical aptitude

· Comprehension of shop math and geometric dimension and tolerance

CNC Swiss Setup and Operator Essential Duties:

· Capability to keep all CNC Swiss machines productive and running at the same time.

· Ensure proper tool selection, compensate tool offset, adjust machine feeds and speeds, and produce a first part to print specifications.

· Inspect parts that are coming off the Swiss machines; be able to determine if they are within or outside customer specifications.

· Understand material properties, proper tool usage, and how a tool wears in various conditions in order to maximize the useful life of each tool.

· Monitor and maintain machine adjustments, offsets, and replace broken/worn tools.

· Understand the CNC Swiss equipment so that proper way lube and coolant levels are maintained. Be able to recognize a problem with the machine and notify supervisor of maintenance requirements. Involved in preventative maintenance program for CNC Swiss equipment.

· Perform hand finishing and cleaning of parts.

· Prepare bar stock and load bar feeders with ram material.

· Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

· Know how to problem solve and come up with solutions on how to run a job as efficiently as possible.
