Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual with prior shop or construction experience to be responsible for running our stone fabrication equipment. Prior experience with CNC machines is a plus, but not required.

We will train for this position. Experience working in a manufacturing environment using machinery and hand tools is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all work required for your shift in an accurate and expeditious manner so the next shift’s work can commence with little to no down time.
• Start machine(s), load programs, layout pieces on control panel, adjust controls, and ensure that machinery is operating properly.
• Determine product specifications and materials, work methods, and machine setup requirements, according to blueprints, oral or written instructions, drawings, or work orders.
• Load and unload machines with cranes and by hand as needed.
• Adjust machine tables or cutting devices and set controls on machines to produce specified cuts or operations.
• Monitor operation of machines and make adjustments to correct problems and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Set up, program, operate, or tend computerized or manual machines, such as bridge saws, shapers, routers and polishers/grinders as needed.
• Set up and program router tooling for machines as needed.
• Examine finished work pieces for conformity to specifications and verify dimensions, visually and using hands, rules, calipers, templates, or gauges.
• Install and adjust blades, boring-bits, or tooling, using hand tools and conforming to company procedures and safety requirements.
• Inspect and mark completed work pieces and place them on carts or on tables so that they can be moved to the next workstation.
• Other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Applicant must have a positive attitude, dedicated work ethic and always be friendly, cheerful and composed.
• Always display a neat, clean and professional appearance.
• Reliability is key. You must be on time every day, as scheduled.
• Experience in manufacturing or other discipline requiring measuring and accurate, quality workmanship is desirable, but not required.
• Candidate must be safety conscious, detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently, as needed.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation is required.

Applicant must be able to independently lift 60-80 lbs from floor to chest height on a regular basis throughout the day, as needed

Pay Rate:

The pay range offered will be between $17 and $23 per hour, commensurate with experience.
