The Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative, Sauk City, WI, has an in-office position for an experienced Credentialing Specialist. This position requires knowledge of credentialing standards and processes along with the ability to accurately implement them for various healthcare providers. Candidates should have an interest and efficient skills for working with databases, web based queries, and imaging software. Candidates need a level of knowledge and confidence to audit credential files for completeness and accuracy along with the ability to explain and resolve discrepancies. Effective communication skills using email and phone along with attention to detail are essential for this position. A two year degree in a relevant field along with three or more years’ experience working with credentialing standards is required.
